I am an economist specialised in public finance and labour economics, with a particular interest in economic policy. I am Associate Professor at Universidad Loyola Andalucía and a Research Fellow at Tax Foundation Europe.
I was ranked among the top 200 young economists worldwide by RePec in 2024 and am currently in the top 3% of economists worldwide (publications last 10 years). I previously worked for the European Commission for five years in the DG Joint Research Centre and for two years in DG ECFIN. Before joining the European Commission, I worked for the Austrian think tank Agenda Austria.
